Holding your table
We hold a booked table for 15 minutes past the reserved time. If you are running late, ring us and we will do our best to keep it. On Friday and Saturday evenings tables of six or more are held for two and a half hours; smaller tables are yours for the evening unless we have told you otherwise when booking.
Groups and function deposits
Groups of 11 or more, and any booking of the back room, are confirmed with a deposit of $30 per guest, payable within five days of us sending the confirmation. The deposit comes off your final bill on the night. Bookings that fall over 40 guests are quoted individually.
Changes and cancellations
Tables of up to ten may be cancelled or changed at any time up to 24 hours before, with no charge. Groups of 11 or more need seven days notice, and exclusive use of the back room needs 21 days notice, for the deposit to be refunded in full. Inside those windows the deposit is retained. Final guest numbers for a function are confirmed 72 hours ahead, and that number is what we charge for.
Minimum spends in the function space
Exclusive use of the back room carries a minimum spend in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST: $1,200 Wednesday and Thursday, $2,400 Friday and Saturday, and $1,600 for a Sunday long lunch. Food and beverage both count towards the minimum. If the minimum is not reached, the difference is charged as a room hire fee.
Dietary requirements
Please tell us about allergies and dietary requirements at least 72 hours before a function, and when booking for a table. Our kitchen specialises in shared plates and handles gluten, dairy, shellfish and nuts in one space, so we can take care but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free dish. We will always tell you honestly what we can and cannot do.
Responsible service of alcohol
We are a licensed venue and practise the responsible service of alcohol. Proof of age is required, service may be refused, and under 18s are welcome until 8pm when dining with an adult. Liquor Licence 00000000.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees that apply under the Australian Consumer Law. Where those guarantees apply, they operate alongside these terms and prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.
